My Final Composition was made in my version somewhere between Raphael’s "normal" many Painted “Madonna and Child“'s AND his very last painted & highly "unusual" - “Sistine Madonna”. Because I had to make it my own & I didn’t want to copy the clouds exactly so I made my background more like the older versions portraits he painted. I put a lot of thought into making it his painting, but, my own version. Also, there is no frame as his paintings at that time were not framed. I wanted a stormy sky for my version as it relates to so much for myself PLUS Raphael’s other versions (sorry I should have put more of his Madonna and Child paintings in my assessment so make this clearer). Anyways, here is my final composition- MY VISUAL TABLEAU ... My version of Raphael's "Madonna and Child" 1500-1530 Italian High Renaissance by Tina Hopkins Virkotie
